What data we collect

None. Copy as Markdown does not collect, transmit, or store any user data. All processing happens locally in your browser.

How it works

When you right-click and select "Copy as Markdown," the extension reads the content of the current web page (or your text selection), converts it to Markdown format locally, and writes it to your system clipboard. Nothing leaves your device. No servers. No tracking.

Permissions explained

• activeTab: To read the page content you choose to copy.
• clipboardWrite: To place the converted Markdown on your clipboard.
• contextMenus: To add the right-click menu items.

Third parties

We do not share data with any third parties because we do not collect any data.
